Pleasantville Community School District seeks to fill the following anticipated vacancy for the 2025-2026 school year: 

Family Consumer Science Teacher (FCS)

Pleasantville High School is in search of a highly qualified candidate who is student-centered, values collaboration with colleagues, and has a strong desire to learn and grow as an educator.

This position is primarily high school but includes two periods of junior high instruction (7th & 8th).

Qualified candidates should hold a valid Iowa teaching license with an endorsement in 5-12 Family & Consumer Sciences - General or have the ability to acquire necessary endorsements. Ability to teach courses as dual enrollment through DMACC is a plus.
